Fill the Work Order in the app
Twelve screens on your phone, chips instead of typing, then Save & sync. The Review screen blocks only on real problems — and it tells you exactly which.
- Work through all twelve screens of the Work Order app
- Clear every Review blocker and understand why each one exists
- Know what a subcontractor sees versus what an internal crew sees
The twelve screens
| # | Screen | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Job | The job identity carried from the brief. |
| 2 | Crew & schedule | Who is doing it and when — start and completion dates, phases. |
| 3 | Site access & contacts | How the crew gets in and who they call. |
| 4 | Substrate | What we are installing over. |
| 5 | Systems & materials | The system going down. |
| 6 | Tools & equipment | What has to be on the truck. |
| 7 | Safety | PPE, training, testing and site safety requirements. |
| 8 | Site concerns | The conditions the crew has to work around. |
| 9 | Labor terms | The labour arrangement for this work order. |
| 10 | Scope & install plan | What we perform, and the install plan. |
| 11 | Photos & sketch | Site photos and the sketch pad. |
| 12 | Review & sync | The blocker list, then Save & sync. |
Review blockers — what stops a sync, and the fix
| Blocker | Why it exists | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Site concerns is required. Pick "No Concerns" if there are none. | CRM refuses a manual save while it is empty — leave it blank and nobody can edit that Work Order by hand afterwards. | Pick the real concerns, or tick No Concerns. |
| "No Concerns" is ticked together with other concerns. | CRM refuses a manual save with both. | Untick one or the other. |
| You ticked [concerns]. Write how the crew handles it in Other site notes. | CRM refuses a save without it, and it is what the crew and the sub actually work from. | Write the handling note. |
| Completion date is before the start date. | The dates are backwards. | Fix the dates on Crew & schedule. |
| Phase N: needs an area / phase name. | An unnamed phase row cannot be worked to. | Name it, or delete the row. |
| Phase N: ends before it starts. | Phase dates are backwards. | Fix the phase dates. |
| Equipment row N: needs an item name, or delete the row. | An empty equipment row is noise on the truck list. | Name it or remove it. |
| [Field] is N characters — the CRM field holds M. | The write would bounce. | Shorten it. |
| [Field]: "value" is not a CRM value. | The picklist value does not exist in CRM. | Pick from the list. |
| [Field] must be a whole number of 0 or more. | A count field has something that is not a count in it. | Enter a whole number. |
| Install plan line looks like a material row and would corrupt the PDF material table. | That line would break the Work Order PDF. | Reword the install plan line. |
| Crew lead email does not look valid. | Format check only — see the note below. | Correct the address, or clear it. |
Takeaways
- Twelve screens, chips over typing, offline drafts, sketch pad and photos. Finish with Save & sync.
- Site concerns is the blocker that catches most people — CRM refuses a manual save while it is empty.
- Internal Crew never sees dollars. A subcontractor sees the contract amount and the Installer Agreement.
