Paper that pays us
Extras, terms, COI, lots, lump sum. Every role touches money even if you never send an invoice.
- Refuse Net 30 and Paid-if-Paid as courtesy
- Know the extra-work path: capture → PCO → written proceed → then work
- Name Nick Holton as the only person who issues a COI
- 01Capture the ask
- 02Hold extra work
- 03Photo + quantities
- 04Estimating prices
- 05Issue PCO
- 06Written proceed
- 07Ticket separately
- 08Bill on its own line
When someone asks for a little more
- 01Capture
Who, what, where, when. Photo. Log it the same hour.
- 02Do not mobilize on it
The original spec still governs until paper says otherwise.
- 03PCO
Priced proposal. Not a yes.
- 04Written proceed
Signed CO or an authorized written notice to proceed.
- 05Then work
Separate SOV / invoice line. Do not bury it.
