Jobsite conduct for office staff

You can be hurt, you can shut down a plant, and you can embarrass us — all in ten minutes.

  • Arrive on a site without creating a safety event
  • Know what you may photograph
  • Stay out of the mix

You are a guest of a hazardous operation

Resin work includes dust, noise, rotating equipment, chemical exposure, trip hazards, and sometimes forklifts and process equipment that can kill you without noticing. Office visits are for measurements, photos of completed work, client meetings, and delivering paper — not for 'helping grind.' If you do not have the training and PPE, you do not do the task.

Site-walk protocol

  1. 01
    Before

Announce to crew lead. Confirm PPE. Confirm escort rules. Leave jewelry that snags, wear boots not fashion shoes.

  2. 02
    Gate

Sign in. Take the briefing. Do not argue about glasses or hard hats.

  3. 03
    On the floor

Stay where you are pointed. No headphones. No wandering into containment.

  4. 04
    Photos

Our work, not their process secrets. No faces of client employees. No posted documents.

  5. 05
    After

Sign out. Debrief Eric if anything looked unsafe or off-scope.

Takeaways

  • The site's rules beat our habits.
  • No boots, no entry. No badge, no entry.
  • Curiosity is not a reason to cross tape.
