M08 Client Care by Vertical

M08.01

Automotive and manufacturing plants

Outage windows, safety culture, and fluids that eat the wrong coating.

  • Speak in windows and gates, not 'soon'
  • Flag chemical lists including aviation fluids when they appear
  • Respect plant EHS as a customer

How these clients buy

Purchasing may hold the PO, but the plant engineer and EHS own the floor. They care about shutdowns, LOTO, hot work if any, contractor orientation, and not tracking dust into a body shop or a clean assembly hall. Chemical lists matter: cutting fluids, coolants, hydraulic fluid, brake and trans fluid, solvents — and Skydrol where hangar work appears. If we quote a pretty system that dies in a puddle of hydraulic fluid, we did not listen.

Takeaways

  • The plant clock is the spec.
  • A missed outage can cost more than our contract.
  • EHS paperwork is part of scope.
