C07 Site Visits & Punch Lists

C07.02

Start the visit

Pick the job and the app brings in the site address, the people on the job and the scope on file from its Work Order — so you walk the floor knowing exactly what was installed and what was excluded.

  • Find and link the job
  • Read the scope on file before you walk
  • Set up the areas and who walked with you in a few taps

The Job screen, top to bottom

  1. 01
    Which job?

Type part of the customer or project name and pick the Opportunity. Won jobs show first. An old job with no Opportunity: tap "Search accounts instead".

  2. 02
    Scope on file

Systems and colours, rooms, scheduled install dates, warranty, joint treatment and what is not in Maverick's scope. "Full scope of work" opens the whole text.

  3. 03
    Visit type

Punch list, Follow-up walk, Final walkthrough, Progress visit, Warranty inspection or Pre-install walk.

  4. 04
    Date and time

Today is filled in. "Yesterday" is one tap if you are writing it up the next morning.

  5. 05
    Areas walked

Tap the areas the scope names, or type your own ("East hangar", "Bay 2").

  6. 06
    Walked with

Tap people from CRM — the GC's project manager, the owner's contact, the site contact — or add a person. Set their role: GC, Owner, Architect, Maverick, Other.

  7. 07
    Distribution

Who gets the report — for example the GC project team, the owner's rep and the Maverick project team.

Takeaways

  • Link the job's Opportunity. The report, a note and the follow-up task all land on it — nothing new is created in CRM.
  • The scope on file comes from the job's Work Order (the Order Brief if there is no Work Order yet) and prints on the report.
  • Areas you add become one-tap locations on every item. Use "From the scope" — Add all.
