Product Installation Requirements
The critical installation requirements from every Maverick product data sheet, in one module: mix ratios and pot life, batch discipline — mix only what you can place — the wet edge that keeps lines out of our floors, recoat windows, temperature and moisture limits, surface prep, broadcast rules, and the product-specific traps. Required for every crew member; every department can take it.
- 01The data sheet runs the installEvery Maverick product ships with a data sheet, and the numbers on it are not suggestions. Where to find them, what they mean, and why being outside them is a stop.18 min
- 02Mix only what you can placePot life is a countdown that starts the second Part B hits Part A. Batch size is set by how fast the crew can place material — never by how big the pail is.16 min
- 03Keep a wet edge — no lines in our floorsBatches knit together only while both are wet. Lay new material into the previous batch before it starts to set and the floor reads as one piece. Miss it and every tie-in is a permanent line.16 min
- 04Polyaspartics and urethane topcoatsThe topcoat is the last hour of the job and the only layer the customer ever sees. UPA, RCU, HTU, HWU, UHD, and ESD each carry their own hard limits — speed, thickness, humidity, and technique.20 min
- 05Epoxies, basecoats, and the moisture ladderThe epoxy family shares a rhythm — 2:1, bead on the floor, 24-hour recoat — but every sheet has its own temperatures, windows, and moisture tolerance. Know the ladder before anyone opens a kit.20 min
- 06Urethane concrete, patch, and jointsMavCrete and MavGrout are a different sport — 15-minute pot life, keyways, trowel discipline, and a wet edge measured in minutes. Patch and joint products have their own clocks.18 min
